FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

April 25, 2006 -- Not Dead Yet is a national disability rights group that was founded on April 27th, 1996. The organization has become a recognized leader in the fight against legalization of euthanasia, assisted suicide and other forms of medical killing. It is headquartered in Forest Park, IL.  Over the past year, Chicagoans would be most likely to remember Not Dead Yet for its leadership in fighting the starvation and dehydration of Terri Schiavo and for the protest and criticism of the film "Million Dollar Baby." Join us as we discuss and celebrate ten years of disability activism and advocacy.
